Kai Cenat runs the most followed channel on Twitch, and his streams now go out live on YouTube too. Here is what his own channels say about clipping, checked 17 October 2026, and how clipping him works.

Short answer: we could not verify any official Kai Cenat clipping program. On 17 October 2026 his Twitch panels, his X and Instagram bios and his two YouTube channels mentioned no clipping campaign, no pay for clippers and no clipping Discord. No major outlet had reported one, and our Clip Rewards list had no Kai Cenat campaign. Clipping is switched on for his Twitch channel, so anyone logged in can make a Twitch clip and share its link. Posting his footage on your own TikTok, Shorts or Reels is different: for that you need his permission, or a campaign whose rules cover his streams.
| What it is | Safe to post? | |
|---|---|---|
| Twitch clip button | Any logged in viewer, up to 60 seconds, live or from a past broadcast. Switched on for his channel | Yes, shared by its Twitch link. It is not permission to repost the video file elsewhere |
| YouTube Clip button | 5 to 60 seconds from a video or a finished live stream, where the channel leaves clipping on | Yes, shared by its link. The clip stays on YouTube |
| A paid campaign | A brand, agency or streamer pays per 1,000 views for footage it names | Yes, within its rules. We found none for his own streams |
| Your own clip page | Cutting his stream into videos for your TikTok, Shorts or Reels | Only with his permission. Copyright claims can remove posts and strike accounts |
From his Twitch channel, the Twitch and YouTube help centers and Content Rewards, checked 17 October 2026.
We checked every channel Kai Cenat links himself on 17 October 2026:
None of them mention a clipping program, pay for clippers or a clipping server. We found no report of one in a major outlet either, and our Clip Rewards list of paid Content Rewards campaigns had no Kai Cenat campaign on 17 October 2026. Campaigns come and go, so check again before you start.
Does he pay clippers? Not in any way we could verify. Clipping sites that list campaigns under his name, and Discord servers that call themselves his clipping server, are not his unless his own accounts link them, and none did. A real program would be announced on his channels and would never charge you to join. How to check any campaign before you clip for it is in how to find clipping campaigns.
Streamer University is Kai Cenat's live streamed boot camp for creators. TIME reported that he conceived and funded the first one himself, with 130 creators on the University of Akron campus over Memorial Day weekend 2025. Billboard reported that the 2026 edition was held at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, with attendees staying through 20 July.
We found no Streamer University clipping campaign run or announced by Kai Cenat. What exists are campaigns for single attendees' own streams. On 17 October 2026, Content Rewards showed two from a clipping agency called ClippedIn, one for Stanley Meng's and one for Elina Meng's Streamer University streams. Each had a $1,000 budget at $1 per 1,000 views, TikTok only, with a $2 minimum and $100 maximum per clip, and the Elina Meng budget was almost used up.
They cover those two streamers' footage under their rules, not Kai Cenat's own streams. If a Streamer University campaign appears on his channels, that is the one to trust.
Making a clip and posting it somewhere else are two different questions.
Without a campaign, the safe route is to ask. For a streamer this size a reply is unlikely, and silence is not a yes. What to send and what to agree on is in how to get permission to clip a streamer.
What is allowed and what is risky:
His verified channels link no TikTok account: his Twitch page points to Instagram, X and two YouTube channels only. A TikTok account using his name is not him unless his own accounts link it.
His Twitch page links a second YouTube channel, Kai Cenat Live, which describes itself as the "Official Kai Cenat Live Channel". On 17 October 2026 YouTube showed 16.6 million subscribers there, against 8.25 million on his main Kai Cenat channel.
It carries his full live streams, longer highlight videos and Shorts of single moments, and its newest uploads that day came within a day of the stream. Anyone clipping the same obvious moment is competing with his own channel.
All checked on 17 October 2026:
How much does Kai Cenat make? He has not published his earnings. Forbes estimated $8.5 million on its 2025 Top Creators list. That is Forbes' estimate, not his number, and net worth figures on celebrity sites are guesses.
With a campaign that covers his streams or his permission, speed decides who gets the views: a big moment on a stream this size gets clipped by many people within minutes.
ReelShift works from the public stream, so you can add any public Twitch, Kick, YouTube or TikTok LIVE channel. It catches moments from what the streamer says, loud stretches, and kills and wins on screen on game streams, cuts them seconds later and drops vertical, captioned clips in your library within minutes, while the stream is still live. Creator is $24.99 a month for 1 channel, Creator Plus $59.99 for 3 and Agency $199.99 for 10. The 7 day free trial covers 1 channel and 5 streaming hours: card required, nothing charged today. ReelShift is not affiliated with Kai Cenat. See ReelShift for clippers.
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial: 1 channel and 5 streaming hours to try it on a real stream. Nothing is charged today, and we email you the day before it ends.
Clipping is switched on for his Twitch channel, so any logged in viewer can make a Twitch clip and share its link. Posting his footage on your own TikTok, Shorts or Reels is different: his verified channels showed no public clipping rules on 17 October 2026, so you need his permission or a campaign that covers his streams.
Not in any way we could verify. On 17 October 2026 his verified channels mentioned no clipping program, no clipper pay and no clipping Discord, and no major outlet had reported one. Treat any server or listing that claims to be his official program as unofficial unless his own accounts link it.
None from Kai Cenat that we could verify. On 17 October 2026, Content Rewards had campaigns from the agency ClippedIn for two attendees' own Streamer University streams, at $1 per 1,000 views on TikTok. They cover those streamers' footage, not his.
His full name is Kai Carlo Cenat III, as The New York Times reported. Forbes lists his age as 24. He was born in December 2001 in New York City: his own YouTube channel marked his 19th birthday in December 2020, and his Kai Cenat Live channel posted birthday videos on 16 December in 2022 and 2023, the date usually reported.
There is no official number. Forbes estimated his earnings at $8.5 million on its 2025 Top Creators list, and that is Forbes' estimate. Net worth figures on celebrity sites are guesses.
Use what the platforms give you: Twitch clips and YouTube clips, shared by their links, or footage a campaign provides under its rules. Downloading his streams to edit and repost without permission risks copyright claims against your account.
