Sizzle is alive and cheap. It finds kills and wins in your Twitch or YouTube VOD and emails you the clips. Here is when that is enough, and when something else fits better.
Twitch · YouTube · Kick · TikTok + uploads & URLs on Creator Plus
Short answer: Sizzle.gg has not shut down. On 15 October 2026 its site is up and its FAQ lists one plan, Starter, at $4.99 a month with the first month free. It links Twitch and YouTube, scans a stream you pick for game events like kills and victories, and usually has clips ready within 4 hours. The main alternatives are Eklipse (the same VOD job with more editing and posting, $24.99 a month), StreamLadder (hands-on editing, ClipGPT from $27), Medal (free PC recording) and ReelShift, which clips your stream while you are still live.
Watches your live stream and cuts moments as they happen: kills and wins read off the screen on game streams, plus what you say, from stories and jokes to hot takes and big reactions. Word-synced captions, auto reframe to 9:16, "clip that" voice command on every plan. Twitch, Kick, YouTube and TikTok LIVE. Unlimited clips; streaming hours metered. 7 day free trial, no free plan.
Scans each finished stream on Twitch, YouTube or Kick for game moments and cuts vertical clips with captions, jumpcuts, memes and effects. Voice command, mobile apps, and posting to TikTok, Shorts and Reels from the app. No free clipping tier; Premium is $24.99 a month or $179.99 a year.
A free vertical editor without a watermark (720p at 30fps). Starter at $15 adds captions and posting to TikTok, Shorts and Reels. Creator at $27 adds ClipGPT, which finds up to 30 clips per stream from Twitch and Kick.
Records on your PC, with event detection in games like Fortnite, Valorant, League of Legends, Apex Legends and Counter-Strike, up to 4K at 144fps. Free on Windows, iOS and Android. It does not watch your Twitch or YouTube broadcast.

Checked on sizzle.gg (home page and FAQ) and eklipse.gg (help center) on 15 October 2026. Competitor plans change; verify on their sites before deciding. ReelShift facts are current.
No. Two other game clippers did shut down, which is probably where the question comes from: Powder and Athenascope. Sizzle is different. On 15 October 2026, sizzle.gg loads with sign up and log in, and its FAQ still describes the product and the price. Its FAQ also names KRAFTON and Garena as partners using Sizzle for PUBG Esports and Free Fire tournament highlights.
One thing worth knowing: the newest post on its blog is from April 2025. The product is up, so the sensible move is to run one stream through it before you build a routine around it.
Per its own site and FAQ:
What its site does not mention: Kick, captions or a voice command. Its FAQ says a mobile app is planned but not built yet.
Both scan a finished stream for game moments, so the routine is the same: stream, wait, review, post. The differences:
If you stream shooters, want highlights and do not mind uploading them yourself, Sizzle is the cheap, honest pick. If you want the clip edited and posted without leaving the app, Eklipse earns the difference. More in Eklipse alternatives.
The speed point is about the VOD model itself, not just Sizzle. Every VOD tool waits for the stream to end. Why your clips arrive hours late explains it.
ReelShift does not wait for the VOD. It watches your Twitch, Kick, YouTube or TikTok LIVE stream as it happens, reads kills and wins off the screen on game streams, and follows what you say, so stories, jokes, hot takes and big reactions get clipped too. That covers the talk streams Sizzle skips. Clips come back 9:16 with word-synced captions, ready to post, usually while you are still live. "Clip that" works on every plan and grabs the last 60 seconds.
The honest trade: at $24.99 a month it costs five times Sizzle's price, there is no free plan beyond a 7 day trial, past VODs and uploads are only on Creator Plus, and it is a clip tool, not a full editor. If you only stream shooters and are happy posting the next day, Sizzle is cheaper. See pricing.
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial: 1 channel and 5 streaming hours to try it on a real stream. Nothing is charged today, and we email you the day before it ends.
