Going live from the street takes one app on your phone. Which one depends on your phone, your platform and whether you need bonding. Here are the apps worth using, what each costs and what it can do, checked on the App Store, Google Play and each maker's own site on 22 October 2026.

Short answer: on an iPhone, use Moblin: free, with SRTLA bonding (Wi-Fi and cellular at once), RTMP and SRT, built in Twitch, Kick and YouTube chat, and up to 4K at 60fps. On Android, use IRL Pro: free, with SRTLA bonding and a Twitch and Kick chat overlay. To go live today with no setup, use the Twitch app (tap +, then Stream) or KICK Go Live, which Kick says works for any account. Twitch's own help recommends Streamlabs Mobile, PRISM Live Studio, IRL Pro (Android) and Moblin (iOS).

Moblin is a free iOS app built for IRL streaming by developer Erik Moqvist. Its App Store listing says "All features are free to use!", with optional cosmetic icons ($1.99 to $9.99) to support the developers. It needs iOS 16.4 or later, and version 35.6.0 shipped on 10 October 2026. What its listing and GitHub feature list say it does:
Is Moblin on Android? No: iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch only. On Android, IRL Pro is the closest match, and Moblin's own page names it as similar software.
Who it suits: iPhone streamers who want bonding and chat without paying. Set it up at home first: the settings list is long.
IRL Pro is a free Android app by developer William R Hector, with over 100,000 downloads on Google Play. Its site, irlpro.app, lists streaming to Twitch, Kick, YouTube and any RTMP or SRT destination, plus:
Twitch's help describes it as an Android only app that "combines multiple internet connections (like WiFi & cellular)". One caution: Google Play shows its last update on 18 September 2024.
Is IRL Pro on iPhone? No. Its site links only to Google Play. On iPhone, use Moblin.
The paid alternative: Larix Broadcaster. Softvelum's Larix (Android and iPhone) supports SRT, RTMP, RTMPS, RIST, WebRTC and NDI, and on Android takes USB cameras and capture cards over USB OTG. Free streams stop after an hour: 30 minutes free, then 30 more with a mandatory overlay, says Softvelum's Premium page. Premium is $9.99 a month or $119 a year and, per the store listings, also unlocks adaptive bitrate and HEVC, plus USB cameras on Android. Larix bonds Wi-Fi and cellular only through Zixi, a Premium feature on iPhone and iPad.
None of their help pages lists bonding, SRT or an external camera input: for those you need a third party app.
Streamlabs (iPhone and Android) streams your camera or mobile games to Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Facebook or any custom RTMP address, with themes, alerts and widgets. The app is free. Ultra adds multistreaming and disconnect protection, which its listing says keeps your stream from going offline when you lose connection. Kick's help notes two gaps on Kick: Streamlabs cannot set your title and category (set them in Kick's dashboard first), and its chat integration does not work for Kick.
PRISM Live Studio (by NAVER, iPhone and Android) is free and streams at up to 1080p and 60fps where your phone allows. It logs in to YouTube, Facebook and Twitch, added Kick login in a recent update, simulcasts to several platforms and takes custom RTMP. It has beauty and camera effects and a chat widget. PRISM Plus is $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year.
Neither lists SRT or bonding. They suit a first IRL stream on good signal.
What about a BRB screen when the signal drops? None of these listings promises an automatic BRB screen on low bitrate. Larix has a manual pause with its own overlays, Streamlabs Ultra has disconnect protection, Moblin switches to a fallback scene when a video source disconnects, and in a bonded setup the BRB scene lives in OBS at the receiving end.
If you ever stream from a car, Twitch's guidelines allow listening to text to speech chat and answering out loud, and ban reading chat, or handling your phone for long or often, while driving. Set everything up while parked somewhere safe.
The quick way: the Twitch app (+, then Stream) or KICK Go Live. Done.
With a third party app (Moblin, IRL Pro, Larix):
To add bonding, the app sends SRTLA to a relay instead of straight to Twitch or Kick. The relay is a server that rebuilds one stream from all your connections and hands it to OBS, which sends it on. BELABOX's cloud relays start at $10 a month, IRL Pro offers a free bonding service, and IRLToolkit publishes Moblin setup guides. More in our BELABOX guide, and the whole kit by budget in IRL streaming setup.
Rules. Follow your platform's rules and local law. Twitch bans streaming from a private space without permission and dangerous or distracted driving. Kick's help reminds streamers that many places have privacy laws about recording strangers.
On a phone stream your hands are full, so clipping usually waits until you get home. ReelShift does not need anything on your phone or in your backpack: it watches your public Twitch, Kick, YouTube or TikTok LIVE stream, follows what you say and the loud moments, and puts vertical clips with word synced captions in your library within minutes, while you are still live. Say "clip that" and it saves the last 60 seconds, hands free. Creator is $24.99 a month for 1 channel, with a 7 day free trial (1 channel, 5 streaming hours, card required, nothing charged today). See ReelShift for IRL streamers and how "clip that" works.
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial: 1 channel and 5 streaming hours to try it on a real stream. Nothing is charged today, and we email you the day before it ends.
Moblin on iPhone and IRL Pro on Android: both free, both with SRTLA bonding. For zero setup, the Twitch app or KICK Go Live.
No. Moblin runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. IRL Pro is the Android app with similar bonding.
No. IRL Pro is an Android app on Google Play. On iPhone, use Moblin.
