Short answer: IRLToolkit is a paid cloud service between your camera (a phone app, a BELABOX, a LiveU or a TVU) and Twitch, Kick or YouTube. Your stream goes to its server, which runs full OBS and shows your BRB scene when your signal drops, so the channel stays live. Cloud OBS Standard is $129 a month (1080p60, 2 destinations), Advanced $179 (uncapped, 5 destinations), and the simpler NoDrop $45. There is no free plan, no free trial and no IRLToolkit app: it recommends the free IRL Pro (Android) and Moblin (iPhone) apps.
| Price | What you get | |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud OBS Standard | $129 a month or $1,290 a year | Full cloud OBS, up to 1080p60 and 7,500 kbps out, 1 ingest, 2 destinations. Add-ons: ingest $8, destination $10, Clips Player $5 |
| Cloud OBS Advanced | $179 a month or $1,790 a year | Uncapped resolution and bitrate (4K60 capable), more ingests on request, 5 destinations, Clips Player included, priority support |
| NoDrop | $45 a month or $450 a year | No OBS scenes: a fallback screen when your feed drops, up to 1080p60, 3 destinations, run from Discord |
| NoDrop + Enhanced Broadcast | $65 a month or $650 a year | NoDrop plus Enhanced Broadcasting (Twitch and Kick only) |
| Custom | On request | NoDrop Customized (up to 4K60, 10 destinations, 24/7) and custom projects |

IRLToolkit (IRLToolkit Inc.) rents cloud stream servers to IRL streamers. Its help center explains the idea: instead of sending your phone or backpack stream straight to Twitch, you send it to an IRLToolkit server, which forwards it to your channel. When your mobile signal drops, the server keeps the channel online instead of going offline and splitting your VOD.
Cloud OBS is full OBS on dedicated NVIDIA RTX graphics cards: scenes, text, images, media and browser sources, run from a web dashboard. Three special scenes switch for you: Ingest (your live feed), Ingest Low-bitrate and Ingest Offline, where your BRB screen goes. A Twitch chat bot alerts you when bitrate drops and lets you or trusted moderators run the server from chat.
NoDrop is simpler: no OBS scenes, just a fallback screen (an image, a looping video or another live feed), run by typing commands like /startstream in a Discord channel its bot creates for you. IRLToolkit says it adds about 1.5 to 2 seconds of delay.
Either way, going live takes two steps: your phone feeds the server, and viewers see nothing until you press Start on the server. How it fits a full kit: our IRL streaming setup guide.
Is there an IRLToolkit backpack? No. IRLToolkit sells servers only. Its guides cover LiveU Solo and Solo Pro backpacks, the TVU Go app and BELABOX encoders, all of which can stream into a server. Gear and prices: our IRL streaming backpack guide.
IRLToolkit cost. The table above has every plan. Yearly billing charges 10 months for 12. Arithmetic: 12 months of Standard at $129 is $1,548, so the yearly plan saves $258; Advanced is $2,148 against $1,790, a $358 saving; NoDrop is $540 against $450, a $90 saving.
Add-ons. On Standard, the order page lists an extra ingest at $8, an extra destination at $10 and the Clips Player at $5. On Advanced the Clips Player is included and an extra destination is $10.
Is IRLToolkit free? No. Its homepage, order pages and NoDrop page list no free plan and no free trial. The cheapest way in is NoDrop at $45 a month, $84 less than Standard.
IRLToolkit coupon codes. The checkout has a "Use a coupon code" box, but IRLToolkit published no codes or sales on its website, order pages or NoDrop page on 22 October 2026; the only discount it lists is yearly billing. It calls its Discord its main point of contact, so ask support there before you trust a code posted anywhere else.
Is there an IRLToolkit app? No. On 22 October 2026 we found no IRLToolkit app in the App Store or Google Play, and its site offers no APK or download. You run the server from the web dashboard at irl.run, which works in a phone browser. To send video, IRLToolkit recommends two free apps from other developers: IRL Pro on Android and Moblin on iPhone. The dashboard opens each app with your server filled in, over SRTLA, which spreads one stream across several network links. More choices: our best IRL streaming apps guide.
IRLToolkit ingest. The servers accept RTMP, RTMPS, SRT and SRTLA, in H.264 or H.265, with no cap on the bitrate you send in. Most servers start with one ingest; Advanced adds more on request, Standard buys them at $8 each. IRLToolkit advises against RTMP on cellular data, and says to put your phone or backpack on the First Ingest, which the automatic scene switcher watches.
Devices with setup guides in its help center: LiveU Solo Pro (over SRT, profile 1080p50/60 H.264 No Nulls), LiveU Solo, the TVU Go app (IRLToolkit built in), BELABOX through BELABOX Cloud (see our BELABOX guide), OBS Studio, PRISM Live Studio, Streamlabs Desktop, and drones or action cameras over RTMP.
IRLToolkit and OBS. The server is OBS: you edit its scenes on the dashboard's Remote OBS page, nothing to install. To send desktop OBS into it, choose IRLToolkit as the Service in OBS's Stream settings and paste your ingest key.
Destinations. Twitch connects with one button; Kick, YouTube and others are added as Custom RTMP or Custom SRT.
Limits. A server that is on but not streaming shuts down after 10 idle minutes. Sessions end after 50 hours (24 on NoDrop); 24/7 uptime is by request.
IRLToolkit Clips Player. A source that plays random clips from your Twitch or Kick channel on your BRB or Ingest Offline scene, with a minimum view count and clip IDs to allow or block. Included on Advanced, $5 on Standard. Twitch's community guidelines make you responsible for all content in your stream, old clips included.
IRLToolkit Discord and support. IRLToolkit calls its Discord, linked on irltoolkit.com, its main point of contact: message its Support Bot there, or email the address in the site footer. NoDrop requires a Discord account. Status is at status.irltoolkit.com.
Cloud OBS. The plan cards say "No setup fee, cancel or resub anytime". Your service lives in the billing portal at account.irltoolkit.com, where its Manage button opens it. IRLToolkit's help center has no cancel article for Cloud OBS, and its Terms of Service (last updated 21 March 2021) have no cancellation or refund clause, so if you cannot find the option, message the Support Bot on Discord or email support before your renewal date.
NoDrop. Its help center says to click Manage Subscription at the top of the NoDrop page to start or stop service. Refunds and upgrades go through support.
Plans renew on the cycle you bought, monthly or yearly, so cancel before the next renewal to avoid another charge.
Four options we checked on their own sites on 22 October 2026:
Is there a free IRL Toolkit alternative? Only partly. NOALBS is free but needs OBS at home and a relay. Streaming straight from IRL Pro or Moblin costs nothing beyond data, but with no server in between, a dropped signal takes your channel offline.
A cloud server keeps the stream up; ReelShift turns it into clips while it runs. It watches your public stream on Twitch, Kick, YouTube or TikTok LIVE, so it needs no gear in your backpack. It follows what you say (stories, jokes, hot takes, big reactions) and loud moments, so it works on IRL streams with no game on screen, and saying "clip that" saves the last 60 seconds, hands free. Vertical clips with word synced captions arrive in your library within minutes, while you are still live. Creator is $24.99 a month for 1 channel, with a 7 day free trial (1 channel, 5 streaming hours, card required, nothing charged today). See ReelShift for IRL streamers and pricing.
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial: 1 channel and 5 streaming hours to try it on a real stream. Nothing is charged today, and we email you the day before it ends.
Cloud OBS Standard $129 a month, Advanced $179, NoDrop $45 ($65 with Enhanced Broadcast), checked 22 October 2026. A yearly plan costs the price of 10 months.
No. Its site lists no free plan and no trial. The cheapest option is NoDrop at $45 a month.
No. You run the server from irl.run in any browser and stream with IRL Pro (Android) or Moblin (iPhone), both free.
Yes. Kick is added as a Custom RTMP or SRT destination, and the Clips Player can play Kick clips.
Cloud OBS: open your service in the billing portal at account.irltoolkit.com, or ask its Support Bot on Discord. NoDrop: Manage Subscription on the NoDrop page.
IRLToolkit says NoDrop adds about 1.5 to 2 seconds. It publishes no figure for Cloud OBS.
