Short answer: Vidyo.ai is now quso.ai: it was renamed in January 2025, and vidyo.ai now opens quso.ai. Eklipse is the gaming pick: it connects to Twitch, Kick or YouTube and reads game events like kills and round wins, but it is now paid only, with Premium at $24.99 a month. quso.ai is the pick for talking video: paste a link or upload a file, with plans from $29 a month and a free tier in some countries. Neither one clips your stream while it is still live.

Eklipse facts from eklipse.gg and its help center; quso.ai facts from quso.ai, quso.ai/pricing, quso.ai/faq and quso.ai/vidyo-ai. Checked 15 October 2026, prices in US dollars; quso.ai says its plans depend on your country. Verify before buying.
Nothing shut down. Vidyo.ai renamed itself quso.ai in January 2025, and vidyo.ai now opens quso.ai. Its own brand page says your login, plan, price, credits and projects all carried over, and the same team still builds it.
The product grew with the name. Vidyo.ai started as a clipper; quso.ai keeps the clipping and adds social scheduling, a content planner, analytics and a brand kit. So comparing Eklipse with Vidyo today means comparing it with an all-in-one social video tool, not a pure clipper.
Eklipse changed far more than quso.ai did this year.
The Pricing link in its menu still goes to the sign up screen, but the prices are now published in its help center.
Turning a long recording into a week of posts. You paste a link from YouTube, Vimeo, X, Facebook, Twitch, Rumble, Loom, LinkedIn, Zoom, Google Drive or Dropbox, or upload a file. quso.ai finds the moments most likely to do well, scores them, reframes them vertical and adds captions. Its Twitch page says you paste a VOD or clip link and the AI picks out highlights, emotional reactions and gameplay wins.
Around that sit the tools Eklipse does not focus on: scheduling to 7 platforms from the Essential plan, a content planner, filler and silence removal, and a brand kit and analytics on Growth. Its use cases are podcasters, marketers, freelancers, real estate, churches and small businesses.
Pricing runs on credits, roughly one per minute of video. Lite is $29 a month for 100 credits, Essential $39 for 300 and Growth $49 for 600. The free plan, 75 credits a month at 720p with 7 days of storage, is offered only in some countries; elsewhere its FAQ says you buy one-time credit packs. On 15 October yearly plans were shown at half price under an offer ending 1 November.
This is where the two split.
Eklipse is built around the game. It says it reads kills, clutches, wins and round results from the picture across 3,000+ titles, so a silent clutch can still become a clip. You connect Twitch, Kick or YouTube once and it picks up each new VOD on its own. Premium includes unlimited AI clipping, a voice command and a mobile app.
quso.ai is built around the recording. Its Twitch page mentions gameplay wins, but nothing on its site describes reading kill feeds or scoreboards the way Eklipse does. It does not watch your channel for new VODs; you paste each link. And credits are minutes of video, so long streams add up fast: a 4 hour stream is about 240 credits, more than Lite gives you in a month. Kick is not on its import list, so you would have to download a Kick VOD and upload the file.
If you stream games for hours several times a week, Eklipse's flat price and automatic pickup fit better. If you post one long talk video a week, quso.ai's credits are plenty.

Neither clips while you are live. Eklipse's help center says that with live processing turned on, clips are ready to review shortly after the broadcast ends. quso.ai starts when you hand it a recording. Either way, a moment from hour one becomes a clip after you go offline. More on that delay in why your clips arrive hours late.
ReelShift works on the stream itself. It watches Twitch, Kick, YouTube or TikTok LIVE, follows what you say, like stories, jokes, hot takes and big reactions, and on game streams reads kills and wins off the screen. It cuts each moment seconds after it happens and has it vertical and captioned in your library within minutes, while you are still on. Say "clip that" to save the last 60 seconds yourself, on every plan. Creator is $24.99 a month with unlimited clips, and every plan starts with a 7-day free trial.
What it does not do: there is no free plan, uploads and video URLs are on Creator Plus only, it has a clip editor rather than a full video editor, and it has no content calendar like quso.ai's. See how live clipping works, or the wider Eklipse alternatives roundup.
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial: 1 channel and 5 streaming hours to try it on a real stream. Nothing is charged today, and we email you the day before it ends.
Yes. Vidyo.ai was renamed quso.ai in January 2025. Its brand page says logins, plans, prices, credits and projects all carried over, and vidyo.ai now opens quso.ai.
Month to month, Eklipse Premium is $24.99 with unlimited AI clipping, while quso.ai starts at $29 for 100 credits, roughly 100 minutes of video. quso.ai has a free tier in some countries; Eklipse has none.
No. Its help center, updated in August 2026, says Eklipse is a paid app with no free clipping tier and no time-limited trial. A free account still gets an AI scan of one recent stream, so you can see the clips before paying.
Kick is not on its import list, so you would upload a downloaded VOD as a file. Eklipse connects to a Kick channel directly, and ReelShift clips Kick live on every plan.
No. With live processing on, Eklipse has clips ready shortly after the broadcast ends, and quso.ai works from a finished recording. ReelShift clips the live stream itself.
