"Clip that"
without the waitlist.

Twitch's "Twitch, Clip That" and Auto Clips are a great idea, and they are rolling out gradually: a waitlist, English-language channels only, Twitch only, and the clips arrive after the stream ends. ReelShift gives you the same reflex today, on any channel, any plan, and every platform you stream to.

Twitch · YouTube · Kick · TikTok + uploads & URLs on Creator Plus

What is the difference? Twitch's Auto Clips and "Clip That" create Twitch clips with captions and a portrait version, delivered to your Clips Manager within 30 minutes of the stream ending, for channels accepted from the waitlist. ReelShift listens to your live stream on Twitch, Kick, YouTube or TikTok, cuts the last 60 seconds when you say "clip that", and also auto-detects moments from audio, emotion and chat velocity. Every clip comes back word-captioned and reframed vertical, export-ready for TikTok, Shorts and Reels, while you are still live. You do not need an invite, a Partner badge or a specific language.

When Twitch's own feature is enough

If you are a Partner or Affiliate, stream in English, only stream on Twitch, and mostly want clips for your Twitch page, Twitch's built-in Auto Clips and "Clip That" are free and worth turning on. They create normal Twitch clips with captions in your Clips Manager.

When you need more than a Twitch clip

Most streamers grow off-platform. Twitch's clips now come with a portrait version and can be posted to TikTok and Shorts directly, which is real progress. What they cannot do is exist while you are still live: Auto Clips arrive within 30 minutes of the stream ending. ReelShift's clips, voice-triggered or auto-detected, land in your library minutes after the moment, while the stream is still going, captioned, reframed and export-ready for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.

It also does not care whether Twitch has reached your channel yet, what language you stream in, or whether tonight's stream is on Kick, YouTube or TikTok instead.

Use both

Nothing stops you. ReelShift watches the public stream and never touches your Twitch settings, so Twitch's clips keep landing in your Clips Manager while ReelShift's land in your library, ready for the feeds that actually bring new viewers.

FAQ

Good to know.

Do I need to be on Twitch's Auto Clips beta to use ReelShift?

No. ReelShift is independent of Twitch's feature. Connect any public Twitch channel and the voice command and auto-detection work immediately, on every plan.

Will ReelShift interfere with Twitch's Clip That?

No. ReelShift listens to the public stream and does not change any Twitch setting. Both can run at the same time.

Does ReelShift make Twitch clips in my Clips Manager?

No. ReelShift produces its own vertical, captioned files in your ReelShift library, for TikTok, Shorts and Reels. Twitch's feature makes Twitch clips.

What about streams that are not in English?

The three trigger phrases are English, but ReelShift's automatic detection reads audio spikes, emotion and chat velocity, which works in any language.

Can I use it on Kick or YouTube too?

Yes. Voice command and real-time detection work on Twitch, Kick, YouTube and TikTok Live, on every plan.
