Kick charges one flat price for a sub, paid or gifted. Here is what any number of subs costs, what the streamer keeps and how gifted subs work, checked 24 October 2026.

Short answer: a Kick sub costs $5 a month, the same US dollar price in every country Kick supports, and a gifted sub costs the same $5. The streamer keeps 95%, which is $4.75 a sub. So 50 subs cost $250 ($237.50 to the streamer), 100 subs $500 ($475) and 250 subs $1,250 ($1,187.50). Kick's iPhone app lists a gifted sub at $6.49, so buying on kick.com is cheaper.
| Viewer pays | Kick's 5% fee | Streamer keeps (95%) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 sub | $5 | $0.25 | $4.75 |
| 5 subs | $25 | $1.25 | $23.75 |
| 10 subs | $50 | $2.50 | $47.50 |
| 25 subs | $125 | $6.25 | $118.75 |
| 50 subs | $250 | $12.50 | $237.50 |
| 100 subs | $500 | $25 | $475 |
| 200 subs | $1,000 | $50 | $950 |
| 250 subs | $1,250 | $62.50 | $1,187.50 |
| 500 subs | $2,500 | $125 | $2,375 |
| 1,000 subs | $5,000 | $250 | $4,750 |
Kick's $5 price for every sub, paid or gifted, and its 95/5 split, both from help.kick.com, checked 24 October 2026. Arithmetic, not a forecast, in US dollars before any fee your bank adds. Kick allows up to 500 gifted subs in one purchase.
Kick's help center says subscriptions are "a flat $5 USD per month, in every country we support" (article updated 16 July 2026). There are no tiers: one sub, one price, which Kick says "means every subscriber contributes the same support".
A sub renews every month until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next charge, and you keep the perks until the month you paid for ends. What the $5 gets you on that channel:
It does not remove ads: Kick says the ad experience is the same with or without a sub. Kick takes cards through Stripe and lists PayPal, Cash App, Amazon Pay and Google or Apple Pay where available.
One older page disagrees. Kick's "How to subscribe" article (updated 22 May 2026) still says a sub costs $4.99. Every newer Kick page, including its revenue split page of 27 August 2026, says $5, so this guide uses $5.
The iPhone app costs more. Kick's App Store listing shows a Tier 1 sub at $6.49, 5 gifted subs at $32.49, 10 at $64.90 and 25 at $162.99 (US store, checked 24 October 2026). Buying on kick.com in a browser keeps the $5 price, and the same goes for tips: see how much KICKs are worth.
Kick's revenue split page says the streamer receives $4.75 of every $5 sub, and the other $0.25 (5%) is a processing fee. Kick's gifting guide says gifted subs pay under the same 95/5 split, so a gift is worth exactly as much to the channel as a sub a viewer buys for themselves.
A few conditions sit on the streamer's side:
Kick also absorbs Stripe's 1.50% currency conversion fee for streamers paid in a local currency, its international payments page says.
Because the price never changes, every amount is a multiplication: $5 a sub for the viewer, $4.75 for the streamer.
There is one real difference between 250 subs and 250 gifted subs. Paid subs renew every month until the viewer cancels, so 250 active subs can pay $1,187.50 again next month. Gifted subs are one time gifts that do not renew, so a gift of 250 pays the channel once. Try your own numbers in the Kick calculator.
There is no local price. Kick's international payments page says there is "no regional pricing", and that every subscription, gifted sub and KICKs purchase is in US dollars at the same global price. Your bank converts the charge on the day, and some banks add a foreign transaction fee.
For a rough idea, here is $5 converted at official reference rates: the European Central Bank's rates of 23 October 2026, and for the naira the Central Bank of Nigeria's central rate of the same day. This is arithmetic, not a Kick price, and your bank's rate will differ a little:
Twitch works the other way and sets lower local prices in many countries: its Tier 1 web price in Nigeria is US$2.49, against $5 on Kick. The Twitch side is in Twitch gifted subs.
Yes, Kick has gifted subs. Its gifting guide (updated 12 May 2026) gives the steps:
Are Kick gifted subs random? Only if you choose the community option, which Kick also calls random subs: Kick hands the gifts out at random among viewers in the channel. Pick a specific viewer and the sub goes to that person. You can gift anonymously, and you can gift on a channel you already subscribe to.
Who receives them. The recipient gets a notification and full sub perks at once, with nothing to claim. A gift is not meant to land on someone who already has a sub, and Kick says to email its subscriptions team if that happens.
How long they last. Usually one month. Gifted subs do not renew and nobody is charged again. When the gift ends, the recipient can subscribe on their own.
What the streamer sees. An on stream alert plays and the revenue shows up in the Creator Dashboard. Kick's Global Gift Subs Leaderboard (help article updated 2 October 2026) ranks the top 50 channels by gifted subs, resets every hour on UTC time, and features the hour's number 1 on Kick's carousel for 30 minutes if it is still live. Gifted subs do not count toward Streamer Achievements.
Every number on this page grows with the size of the room, and most new Kick viewers find a channel through short clips on TikTok, Reels and Shorts. ReelShift clips your Kick stream while you are still live: it follows what you say, the loud moments and, on game streams, the kills and wins on screen, and hands back vertical clips with word synced captions within minutes, ready to post. Say "clip that" to save the last 60 seconds. The 7 day free trial covers 1 channel and 5 streaming hours, card required, nothing charged today.
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial: 1 channel and 5 streaming hours to try it on a real stream. Nothing is charged today, and we email you the day before it ends.
$5 a month on kick.com, paid or gifted. The streamer keeps $4.75 and Kick keeps $0.25 as a processing fee.
$1,250, and the streamer keeps $1,187.50. A gift of 250 fits in one purchase, since Kick allows up to 500.
$500, and the streamer keeps $475. Each gift usually lasts a month and does not renew.
Only when you gift to the community: Kick spreads them at random among viewers in the channel. You can also pick one specific viewer.
Usually not. Kick says gifted subs are non-refundable once sent, unless the law requires a refund or there was a billing error such as a duplicate charge.
$5 in US dollars, about £3.74 at the European Central Bank rate of 23 October 2026. Kick has no regional prices, so your bank converts the charge.
