AI clipping
agency.

In the pitch going around in 2026, an AI clipping agency is a middleman: it takes a brand's budget, hands the clipping to clippers who use AI tools, and keeps a cut. Here is what the starter kit people search for sells, what its terms say, the FTC's checks and the math on 98 live campaigns, checked 26 October 2026.

Short answer: an AI clipping agency is a clipping agency that uses AI tools. It takes a client's budget, runs a pay per view campaign, usually on Content Rewards, and keeps part of the money while clippers post the clips. The AI Clipping Agency Starter Kit on aiclippingagency.com costs $5 and promises a "$1,000 client in 48 hrs or full refund". Its refund policy defines that client as an opportunity with a stated value of at least $1,000, and its own example puts your 20% cut of a $1,000 budget at $200. Content Rewards lets agencies run client campaigns with no subscription, so a course is optional.

What is an AI clipping agency? A clipping agency with AI tools

It works like any clipping agency: a client pays for views, the agency posts a campaign, and clippers post clips on their own accounts, paid per 1,000 verified views. The agency keeps part of the client's money or charges a fee.

Where the AI comes in. AI tools find the moments in a long video, cut them, turn them vertical and add captions. Finding clients, writing briefs and approving clips stay human work.

What the starter kit means by it. Its sales page calls an AI clipping agency the middleman between brands and clippers, taking 15 to 30% of the campaign budget, and says you can launch "without becoming an editor". Apart from its ties to Crayo, an AI video app, it names no AI tool for you to use. In that model the clippers use the AI, not you.

How agencies price and win clients is in how to start a clipping agency.

The AI Clipping Agency Starter Kit: what the page sells

The kit is sold under the name Media Metas and presented by Musa Mustafa, who the page says co-founded Crayo and helped build Content Rewards, the campaign marketplace. The footer lists Crayo, Inc. in San Jose, California. The page lists:

  • A 10 step setup guide and 30+ tutorial videos.
  • A one on one call "with an agency owner doing $100K+ a month".
  • A client match: "a live client from our network".
  • Content Rewards access, a Crayo community of agency owners and "access to 200,000+ clippers".

Is this the Musa AI clipping course? It is where that search leads: a starter kit, not a classic course. Its refund policy also mentions a free "AI Clippers Live Training" and other paid digital products, final once delivered unless the checkout shows a guarantee.

The "20 spots". A version of the pitch that readers paste into Google adds "only 20 spots". The page we read on 26 October 2026 showed no spot count.

Is the AI clipping agency starter kit legit? Read the guarantee

We call no person or company a scam, and we have not bought the kit. Its terms, read next to its sales page and the refund steps in the table above, show two things:

  • The "$1,000 client" is a stated value, not your pay. The guarantee is about being offered an opportunity worth at least $1,000 on paper. At the page's own 20% cut that is $200 to you, and the policy says it does not guarantee profit, payment collection or the outcome of your work.
  • The testimonials carry a label. Lines like "$3,801 in 13 days" sit above a footer saying results "are not typical or guaranteed". The FTC's endorsement FAQ says labels like "Results not typical" do not change how readers take a specific result. Ask what buyers generally get: the page does not say.

Reviews, Reddit and Trustpilot. On 26 October 2026 Trustpilot showed an unclaimed profile for aiclippingagency.com with 0 reviews. We do not summarize anonymous Reddit threads. The FTC warns that glowing reviews can come from made up profiles: trust written terms over stories.

How to judge any AI clipping course: the FTC's checks

The FTC's page "When a Business Offer or Coaching Program Is a Scam" and its May 2026 alert on business coaching scams give a test that fits every clipping course:

  1. Promised money. In the alert's words, "No one can guarantee you'll make lots of money with little to no risk." A guaranteed introduction is not guaranteed income.
  2. Pressure. Spot counts and countdowns push you to decide now. The FTC: "an offer that's good today should be good tomorrow, too."
  3. The cheap start. The FTC warns that "even a free or low-cost 'system'" can turn into a money pit. If a call ends in a bigger offer, stop and talk to someone you trust.
  4. Your own numbers. Know how the business makes money, what it costs you and when it turns a profit: for an agency, what share you keep and how many campaigns cover your hours.
  5. Documents. The FTC's Business Opportunity Rule covers paid offers where the seller says it will help set up the business, for example by providing customers or accounts. Covered sellers must give you a one page Disclosure Document, with 10 past buyers as references, seven days before you pay, plus an Earnings Claim Statement for any earnings claim. Coverage is a legal question, so ask. Coaching alone is not clearly covered: the FTC proposed adding it in January 2025, and we found no final rule.
  6. Search first. Look up the company with "review", "scam" or "complaint", and check your state attorney general.

Scams aimed at clippers themselves, from fees to join to fake checks, are in is clipping legit.

How much does an AI clipping agency make? The math on 98 campaigns

The kit's example, at a 20% cut: $200 of a $1,000 budget, $2,000 of $10,000, $20,000 of $100,000. How often each size appeared among the 98 pay per view campaigns on our Clip Rewards list on 26 October 2026:

  • Budgets: a median of $3,000. 21 sat at the $1,000 minimum and 70 at $5,000 or less. 20 had $10,000 or more, and only 1 had $100,000 or more.
  • At a 20% cut, the median campaign is worth $600 to its agency, before your hours and tools.
  • Rates: a median of $1 per 1,000 views, the rate of 33 campaigns.
  • Competition: a median of 44 clippers per campaign. 55 of 98 had paid out half their budget or more.

Where the cut comes from. The client's money. Content Rewards needs at least $1,000 per campaign plus a 10% platform fee on delivered work, so a 20% cut taken out of $1,000 would leave $800, under the minimum: the fee has to go on top, or the budget be bigger. Content Rewards also says nothing approves automatically: your team reviews every clip within seven days. That, plus outreach, is what the kit's own FAQ calls "active work".

AI clipping campaigns. Some campaigns promote AI products. The biggest budget on our list that day was for ForgeGUI, an AI tool for Roblox developers, run by BloxClips: $1.50 per 1,000 views on a $359,306 budget, 82% paid out. Campaigns open and close daily, so it may be gone.

AI clipping tools, software and apps: what an agency needs

Two kinds of clipping software matter, and neither needs a course:

  • Upload clippers turn a file or link into clips. AI clipping in CapCut: its AI clip maker page, checked 26 October 2026, says it finds highlights in an uploaded video, reframes 16:9 to 9:16 with subject tracking and adds captions, free to try online.
  • Live clippers return clips while a stream is still live, which matters on streamer campaigns, where the first clip of a moment tends to get the views.

Is there an AI clipping agent? Not as a standard product. People use the phrase for software that runs the chain without you: watch, pick moments, cut, caption. None can sign a client or approve a clip for you. Our comparison, free plans included, is best AI clipping tools.

Permission comes before software. Every clip uses someone's footage, so get the client's written permission before clippers post: how to get permission to clip a streamer.

Where ReelShift fits

ReelShift is a tool, not a course, and it will not find you clients. It watches each client's Twitch, Kick, YouTube Live or TikTok LIVE stream and picks moments from what the streamer says, loud stretches, and in games kills and wins read off the screen. Vertical 9:16 clips with word synced captions and an on screen title written from what was said, in the stream's language, land in your library within minutes while the stream is still live. The Agency plan is $199.99 a month for 10 channels and 400 streaming hours, after a 7 day free trial with 1 channel and 5 streaming hours (card required). See pricing.
