How to make money
on Kick.

Kick is built around one pitch: you keep 95%. Here is every way Kick pays, what each one takes to unlock, and how the money reaches your bank.

Short answer: stream 5 total hours on Kick and you can turn on subscriptions. You keep 95% of subs ($4.75 of a $5 sub) and 95% of KICKs, Kick's tipping currency. Bigger channels can join the Partner Program, which pays per stream based on viewers. All payouts go through Stripe to your bank: monthly, or weekly if your channel is verified.

Step 1: unlock subscriptions

Kick's help center says the only requirement is 5 total hours of streaming. It adds up across streams, so five one hour streams count. Hit it and you become a KICK Affiliate, able to turn on paid subs. Track your progress under Achievements in your dashboard.

To actually get paid, connect Stripe:

  1. Open the Revenue section of your creator dashboard.
  2. Pick your country of residence.
  3. Create a Stripe account with your email and confirm it.
  4. Verify your phone with the code Stripe sends.
  5. Check your name and address, then add your bank details.
  6. Review and confirm. Kick shows a confirmation once Stripe accepts you.

If Stripe does not support your country, Kick cannot pay you there yet.

The 95/5 split

Kick says you keep 95% of what you receive from subs and KICKs. The other 5% is a processing fee, and Kick says it takes no cut of its own. If your bank uses a currency other than US dollars, Kick covers Stripe's 1.5% conversion fee.

KICKs: tips from viewers

KICKs are Kick's virtual tips. Viewers send them in amounts from 1 to 50,000, and you keep 95%. To receive them you need the Streamer achievement and a finished Stripe setup. Kick says KICK purchases are final and non-refundable.

Kick also runs Bounties at bounties.kick.com: challenges you complete on stream in the KICK Bounties category. Each one sets its own task, deadline and reward.

The Partner Program

Partners are paid every stream, based on how many viewers show up, on top of their 95% of subs. Kick says the program has facilitated payouts of over $400 million since it launched in 2024. To apply, in the past 30 days you need:

  • 75 average concurrent viewers
  • 30 hours streamed
  • 25 active subscribers
  • 250 unique chatters
  • 3 VODs

Plus 250 followers and a verified channel with a complete profile. Meeting the numbers does not guarantee you get in.

The multistream rule: Kick lets Partners stream elsewhere at the same time, but you must switch on the Multistreaming toggle first, and you then earn 50% of your usual Partner pay for that stream.

How Kick pays out

  • Stripe only. PayPal works for viewers buying subs, not for your payouts.
  • Schedule: verified streamers choose weekly or monthly. Everyone else is paid monthly.
  • Speed: US bank transfers take 2 to 3 business days. US instant payouts to a debit card take minutes, up to $9,000 per payout. International payouts take 3 to 7 business days.
  • First payout: after Stripe verifies you and the next monthly cycle ends, up to 30 days after the end of the month.
  • No early payouts. Kick does not offer on demand cash outs.

Kick's sponsorship rules

Kick's community guidelines allow sponsors and affiliate links, with rules:

  • Use Kick's Branded Content tool for paid partnerships, show #Ad or #Sponsored in the stream title, and say it out loud at the start of the sponsored part. Kick asks for plain words like "Paid Promotion", not "Partner" or "Collab".
  • Disclose affiliate links clearly, next to the link or out loud.
  • Gambling sponsors must hold a valid license where you are. Unlicensed ones can get you suspended.
  • No gambling with viewers' money, like buy-ins.

Where ReelShift fits

Subs, KICKs and Partner pay all scale with viewers, and Partner needs 75 on average. ReelShift clips your Kick stream while you are live, vertical and captioned, so you can post to TikTok, Shorts and Reels the same day and bring new viewers back. See the Kick clipper.
