Short answer: yes, Kick has channel points. Logged in and watching a live stream, you earn 10 points every 5 minutes, which is 120 points an hour. Subscribers of that channel earn double: 240 an hour. Extra points come from following the channel (50, once), subscribing or resubscribing (300 per monthly cycle), each gifted sub (300) and each KICK you send (1). Points only work on the channel where you earned them, only on channels whose streamer turned them on, and Kick's terms say they have no monetary value.
| Points | Limit | What it adds up to | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Watching, logged in | 10 every 5 minutes | While you watch a live stream | 120 an hour |
| Watching as a subscriber | 20 every 5 minutes | On the channel you subscribe to | 240 an hour |
| Following | 50 | Once per channel | 50, one time |
| Subscribing or resubscribing | 300 | Once per monthly subscription cycle | 300 a month plus double watch points |
| Gifting a sub | 300 per gift | No limit | 10 gifted subs = 3,000 |
| Sending KICKs | 1 per KICK | No limit | 500 KICKs = 500 points |
| Winning a prediction | A share of the pool | Bets of 10 to 250,000 points | Depends on how the pool splits |
From Kick's Guide to Channel Points (updated 7 September 2026) and its Channel Points Terms, checked 24 October 2026. Kick adds that "these limits apply across all of KICK, not to each channel separately." Last column: arithmetic on Kick's rates, which Kick can change at any time.
Channel points are Kick's loyalty program: Kick says they "recognise the time you spend watching a specific channel and the ways you take part in it." You get a separate balance on each channel, spent on rewards that streamer set up, like a song request or the default Hydrate reward (500 points: you remind the streamer to drink).
Not the same thing: your Kick level (a badge that grows with all your watch time and cannot be spent) and Daily Rewards (watch 1 hour in a day, then claim a random emote or badge).
Kick's guide gives the watch rate exactly: 10 points every 5 minutes, or 20 every 5 minutes if you subscribe to that channel. Points arrive in those blocks, so per minute it averages 2 (4 as a sub), and per hour 120 (240 as a sub).
How long a reward takes at those rates:
A Kick channel points calculator is one division: the cost divided by 120 (240 as a sub) gives hours.
What does not count. You must be logged in. Kick says watching "through screen mirroring or picture-in-picture mode does not count"; on a TV, use Kick's TV app. The guide only talks about watching streams, not VOD replays, so do not count on those.
There is no secret faster rate. Every point comes from the table, so fast means stacking:
Paying just to farm points makes little sense: they buy nothing outside that channel.
Auto clickers, bots, glitches and exploits: no. Kick's guide describes no bonus to click: points arrive on their own, so an auto clicker adds nothing. Kick's Channel Points Terms ban "artificially boosting watch time or using bots to accumulate Points" (clause 7.1.3), and its Terms of Service ban "using any automated system" to access the service (1.4). Under clause 9.1 Kick can suspend or terminate your access, block you from coming back and cancel your points. Sellers of Kick points break the same terms: points "cannot be bought", and points used against the rules "may be confiscated or cancelled."
Check your balance below the chat, under the field where you type. Each channel shows its own.
Predictions are bets with points, never money. When one starts, a banner appears above chat: click Predict, pick one of two outcomes and bet 10 to 250,000 points. You cannot switch sides later. Right guesses split the pool in proportion to their bets; wrong ones lose. If no outcome is chosen within 24 hours, everyone is refunded.
Can you give or transfer points? No. The terms say points are "not transferable to any other account holder" and ban trading them, giveaways included. Kick describes no way to bring points over from Twitch either.
Kick's streamer guide (updated 7 September 2026) lists no follower or Affiliate requirement:
Limits. Up to 15 rewards, Hydrate included (Kick's developer docs, written for apps, say 50). Kick sets the earn rate, not you.
Predictions: you or a moderator type /prediction in chat, then add a title, two outcomes and a voting window of 1, 5, 10 or 30 minutes. One runs at a time, you cannot bet on your own, and a moderator who bets cannot pick the result.
Commands, alerts and bots. Kick's public API has handled rewards since 3 December 2025 (accepting and rejecting redemptions since 15 January 2026), which is how third party alert, sound and bot tools connect. Through the API, only the app that made a reward can edit or delete it, and you must link that tool's terms.
Safe reward ideas: pick the next game, map or character; a song request; a challenge for the next round; a shoutout; pick the next topic. The terms rule out gambling, alcohol, tobacco and other listed goods, prizes of value outside Kick, and limited stock you do not state up front.
Both pay 10 points every 5 minutes of live watching. Then they split. From Twitch's Channel Points Guide for Viewers, checked 24 October 2026:
Points never move between the two. For the money side, see Kick vs Twitch.
Redemptions and predictions make moments: the challenge a viewer picked, your reaction when a prediction lands. Short clips on TikTok, Reels and Shorts are how many new viewers find a Kick channel (how to grow on Kick). ReelShift clips your Kick stream while you are live, following what you say, the loud moments and, on game streams, kills and wins on screen. Vertical clips with word synced captions reach your library within minutes, and saying "clip that" saves the last 60 seconds. It does not use channel points. Creator is $24.99 a month, with a 7 day free trial (1 channel, 5 streaming hours, card required, nothing charged today). See pricing.
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial: 1 channel and 5 streaming hours to try it on a real stream. Nothing is charged today, and we email you the day before it ends.
120: 10 points every 5 minutes you watch live, logged in. Subscribers of that channel get 20 every 5 minutes, or 240 an hour.
Yes, for all viewers, on channels where the streamer switched them on. Points from one channel can only be spent there.
Switch on Channel Points in your Streamer Dashboard, then add rewards under Custom Rewards. Kick's guide allows up to 15.
No. Kick's terms say they hold no monetary value, cannot be bought and cannot be sold for money or crypto.
No. Kick's terms ban artificially boosting watch time and using bots. Kick can cancel your points and suspend your account.
