ARC Raiders in two lines: platforms, crossplay, players

The game. ARC Raiders is Embark Studios' multiplayer extraction shooter: leave the underground city of Speranza, scavenge a surface overrun by ARC machines and get back alive while other Raiders hunt the same loot. Solo or in a squad of up to 3; go down Topside and you come home empty handed.

Platforms. Out since 30 October 2025 on Steam, the Epic Games Store, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and GeForce NOW, at $39.99 on Steam ($59.99 Deluxe).

Is ARC Raiders crossplay? Yes, across PlayStation, Xbox and PC. You can switch it off, but Embark's help calls that the most common reason for slow matchmaking, and a party queues with its strictest member's setting.

ARC Raiders player count, official figures only:

• More than 16.3 million copies sold by the end of June 2026 (Nexon's earnings letter, 13 August 2026).
• More than 700,000 Raiders at once across platforms in early November 2025 (Embark).
• 58,519 playing on Steam late on 26 October 2026, with a peak that day of 81,903: 14th on Steam's own Most Played chart.

Trackers such as SteamDB are third party sites, and no Steam number counts console players.

Stream sniping, streamer mode and stream delay

Stream sniping means watching a streamer live to find their raid and hunt them. Embark's ban policy lists it as a reason for a ban, and its help center has a Streamer Mode guide (updated 7 September 2026).

Turn on Matchmaking Privacy, the game's streamer mode: click the gear icon at the bottom right, go to General, then Streaming, and toggle it on before you queue (it cannot change during matchmaking). It adds a random delay to your matchmaking and makes the server info in the bottom right corner harder to read. In a party, the leader's setting counts.

Embark's extra steps: cover the round timer, show a holding screen during map selection, keep your map to yourself until you are Topside, and add a stream delay.

How to set a stream delay on Twitch (Twitch help, updated 2 April 2026):

• Partners: add the Stream Delay Quick Action in Stream Manager and set up to 15 minutes.
• Everyone else: in OBS Studio, open Settings, Advanced, Stream Delay, tick Enable and set the seconds. Streamlabs Desktop has it under Settings, Advanced.

Twitch calls 30 to 60 seconds common for competitive games. Chat reacts late, the stream runs on for the length of the delay after you end it, and changing it usually means restarting. A software delay is buffered on your own PC, before the video reaches any platform.

Does ARC Raiders pay streamers? Sponsorship, drops, skins, early access

Through sponsorship, not per view. Embark publishes no per view or hourly rate for streaming ARC Raiders. What exists:

• Embark Creator Program. For creators of any size, 18 or older with an Embark ID; still a pilot with limited places, admitted in waves. Embark Creators get "exclusive perks and opportunities". Embark Partners, a tier members can be invited to later, get the "possibility to be sponsored for content". Embark looks for consistent ARC Raiders coverage.
• Sponsored streams at launch. GamesBeat's recap of a May 2026 panel with Embark's marketing director, its agency Sandbox Strategies and Twitch says typical sponsored stream bookings during the October 2025 Server Slam lasted about two hours. No names or fees were published.
• Twitch Drops reward viewers, not streamers: link Twitch to your Embark ID and watch a stream tagged Drops Enabled. Listed on 26 October 2026: a Mailbox and an Oxygen Respirator.

Is there a streamer skin or care package? We found no official one on Embark's site, help center or social accounts. Did streamers get early access? Embark announced none: the Server Slam of 17 to 19 October 2025 was open to everyone 16 and over, and its progress did not carry over to launch.

ARC Raiders streamers banned for cheating? What Embark has confirmed

Embark does not name banned players, and we found no official post naming a banned streamer, so we name no one. The policy covers streamers like everyone else:

• Cheating is a permanent ban. From Embark's anti-cheat update of 30 September 2026: "any account caught using cheats is permanently banned. No warnings, no second chances." Accounts linked to a banned copy of the game go too, and hardware bans, which cannot be appealed, stop a cheating PC from running the game.
• Footage gets reviewed. Embark's team checks videos and streams on YouTube and other platforms and acts on clear evidence of cheating. Bans can lag because the system checks behaviour across several instances first.
• Also bannable (ban policy, updated 26 February 2026): exploiting bugs or glitches, stream sniping, harassment, boosting, selling accounts and trading items for real money. Serious cases can cover every Embark game.

Knocked out by a cheater on stream? Report them in game from Social, Recent, Report. Once Embark confirms the cheater, your lost loot returns to your inbox automatically.

The streamer war and factions. Not an Embark event: in November 2025 two big streamers and their fans declared a "war" and played it out in ordinary public raids. The game has no faction system.

How to clip ARC Raiders: your raids, streams and clips for edits

Your raids on PC. Windows + Alt + G saves the last 30 seconds with Xbox Game Bar. NVIDIA's Instant Replay saves with Alt+F10, AMD Software has its own hotkey, and the OBS Replay Buffer covers streamers: how to clip on PC. Embark allows overlays only if they do not interfere with gameplay or give an unfair advantage; unsure about a program, ask its Support.

On console. PS5: press Create, then Save Recent Gameplay. Xbox: press the Xbox button, then X, for the last 30 seconds. Mic and party audio differ: how to clip on PS5, Xbox and Switch.

From a stream. On Twitch, click the clip icon on a live ARC Raiders stream or a past broadcast and pick up to 60 seconds: how to clip on Twitch.

ARC Raiders clips for edits. Your own footage is yours. Someone else's stream is theirs: share their clips by link, use footage a campaign provides, or ask permission first. Embark's creator code of conduct adds: do not promote cheats or exploits, and credit and license what you use.

What travels: the payoff set up in the first seconds (a betrayal at extraction, an ARC out of the fog), vertical 9:16 with captions, one moment per clip. More in how to make clips go viral. And "clip through door" searches are about a map glitch, not video: exploiting glitches is bannable.

ARC Raiders clip submission: Embark's showcases and paid campaigns

Yes, Embark collects community clips. Its YouTube channel posts Community Highlights videos made from player clips. The August 2026 editions say to post your clips in the official ARC Raiders Discord (discord.gg/arcraiders), and that a featured clip earns the Film Reel Backpack Charm and 1,150 Raider Tokens.

• Best of the Best 2026, posted 22 October 2026: a community vote between Embark's favourite clips of the past year. The top 10 get 1,150 Raider Tokens each. Votes went in through the link in the video's description, with a deadline of 28 October 2026.
• Contests. Storm Stories (March 2026) took 16:9, 1080p videos as replies on X: a merch kit for the winner, 2,400 Raider Tokens each for 10 runners up. Wasp Week (September 2026) gave its top clips the Wasp Hunter DLC set.
• Your own footage only. Embark's Highlight Submission form asks you to confirm the clip is your original creation, that everyone heard in it agrees, and that Embark pays nothing for using it.

Paid clipping campaigns. On 26 October 2026, none of the 98 pay per view campaigns on our Clip Rewards list was for ARC Raiders. The nearest was Clipping Culture's Modern Warfare 4 DMZ Live Clipping, another extraction mode, at $1.75 per 1,000 views on a $50,000 budget, with footage from its own content folder. Campaigns come and go.
