How to watch a
TikTok LIVE replay.

TikTok saves a recording of every LIVE, but only the host can open it, and only for 30 days. Here is where it is and what to do if you missed someone else's LIVE.

Short answer: if it was your LIVE, open your Profile, tap the menu , choose TikTok Studio, tap LIVE at the top, then LIVE recordings. TikTok keeps each replay for 30 days, and you can watch, download, clip or delete it. On a computer, replays are also in LIVE Center. If it was someone else's LIVE, TikTok's help pages describe no replay for viewers. Check the host's profile for clips they posted afterwards.

How to find your LIVE replays

  1. Open TikTok and tap Profile.
  2. Tap the menu at the top and choose TikTok Studio.
  3. Tap LIVE at the top.
  4. Tap LIVE recordings and pick a replay.

On a computer, open LIVE Center at livecenter.tiktok.com and go to replays. Per TikTok, replays are available to view and download for 30 days.

What you can do with a replay

  • Download the whole recording to your phone.
  • Clip a part: tap Clip, edit it, then tap Next to post, or Save to post later.
  • Delete it.

After 30 days it is gone, so download anything you want to keep. More on saving in how to download a TikTok LIVE.

Missed someone else's LIVE?

TikTok's replay help describes replays for the host only. There is no official way for a viewer to rewatch another creator's LIVE. What you can do:

  • Check their profile for clips they posted from the LIVE.
  • Turn on LIVE notifications or register for their LIVE Events, which let creators announce a LIVE in advance so you get notified.
  • Next time, screen record it for yourself. See how to screen record a TikTok LIVE.

Don't wait for the replay: clip it live

Replays and highlights both arrive after the fact. ReelShift works during the LIVE: it watches your TikTok LIVE, whether you go live from your phone or LIVE Studio, and cuts the best moments into vertical clips with captions while you are still on. Say "clip that" to save the last 60 seconds yourself. See the TikTok LIVE clipper.
